"Levant’s Engine" is a short documentary that showcases the last operating steam-powered Cornish beam engine in its original location, underscoring the importance of industrial preservation for education and culture. Part English, part Kernewek (Cornish), the film captures Adam's passion for steam and British history alongside his love for Cornwall and its mining heritage. Featuring rare archive material from Kresen Kernow, interviews with local experts, and poems by John Harris in Kernewek, the documentary is a tribute to Cornwall's past. It also features a rendition of 'Love Divine,' performed by Roger King at the St Just Miners Chapel, celebrating the enduring legacy of Cornish industry. Created by Adam Bignell, filmed in February 2024, and in partnership with The National Trust.
