About the John Harris Society. The John Harris Society is dedicated to promoting the life and works of this unique Cornish Miner and Poet. We publish a quarterly newsletter, with poems and articles of interest regarding John Harris, and related subjects. We organize walks and tours, when we read his poems. We have a quantity of books, commemorative plates and other items of interest for sale. (see photo page) Annual subscription for membership is only five pounds sterling.
